Dr. Catherine L. Scarf's private practice in Santa Monica is dedicated to comprehensive neuropsychological assessment. Her practice specializes in the neuropsychological assessment of infants, children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Scarf is also the Chief Psychologist for the NorthLos AngelesRegionalCenter, where she oversees the psychological assessments of 15,000 children. She has specialized clinical skills in the assessment of neurological disorders and syndromes including epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, mental retardation and autism. She currently trains and supervises several psychologists. She is also the Chairperson of the statewide ARCA Psychologists Committee. She has lectured on assessment at UCLA, PepperdineUniversity and numerous continuing education conferences throughout California. She holds clinical appointments at EncinoHospital, TarzanaRegionalMedicalCenter and LosRoblesRegionalMedicalCenter. Dr. Scarf has acted as an expert witness in numerous civil, criminal and administrative matters.
