This 3 hour workshop will
assist attorneys who occasionally or regularly rely on the use of psychological assessment as part of criminal or civil litigation. The lecture will be of benefit to criminal attorneys and civil litigators who handle employment, toxic tort, personal injury or brain damage cases.

                Speaker Bio

Dr. Catherine L. Scarf's private practice in Santa Monica is dedicated to comprehensive neuropsychological assessment. Her practice specializes in the neuropsychological assessment of infants, children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Scarf is also the Chief Psychologist for the North Los Angeles Regional Center, where she oversees the psychological assessments of 15,000 children. She has specialized clinical skills in the assessment of neurological disorders and syndromes including epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, mental retardation and autism. She currently trains and supervises several psychologists. She is also the Chairperson of the statewide ARCA Psychologists Committee. She has lectured on assessment at UCLA, Pepperdine University and numerous continuing education conferences throughout California. She holds clinical appointments at Encino Hospital, Tarzana Regional Medical Center and Los Robles Regional Medical Center. Dr. Scarf has acted as an expert witness in numerous civil, criminal and administrative matters.
