Understanding the Current CGL Form in California
June 10, 2009 San Jose, CA San Jose Marriott
This program will cover comprehensive general liability insurance policies, including an in-depth discussion of the risks they cover, exclusions that might bar coverage, and conditions with which the insurer and insured must comply. Commercial general liability insurance is one of the most common types of coverage that businesses buy, and it therefore is essential to know how it works and where the opportunities and pitfalls may lie.
This program is designed for attorneys and corporate counsel as well as risk and claims managers. It is designed to give a comprehensive overview of general liability insurance while demonstrating how it applies to specific claims, including environmental, intellectual property, construction and property damage claims. It will highlight specific coverage issues that arise with each of these types of claims and will suggest approaches to deal with them. This program will be led by John Green, Tyler Gerking and Erica Villanueva of Farell Braun + Martel.
